1. Commercial Policy
1.1 The “Seller” Sofia Godinho (Sofia Godinho Lda or SGF) offers products for sale on the website www.sofiagodinho.com, with e-commerce services available exclusively to end users / “Consumers”.
1.2 A “Consumer” is an individual acting/purchasing outside their business or profession. If you are not a “Consumer”, please do not place orders on www.sofiagodinho.com.
1.3 SGF reserves the right not to process orders from users who are not “Consumers” or orders that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
1.4 These Terms and Conditions govern exclusively the offer, transmission, and acceptance of orders placed on www.sofiagodinho.com between Consumers and SGF.
1.5 The “Consumer” must provide the “Seller” with a correct and complete email address or other contact information and accepts that the “Seller” may contact them using this information if necessary.
2. How to Order
2.1 To place an order at www.sofiagodinho.com, you must have an email account and your browser must be configured to accept cookies and pop-ups to ensure full site functionality.
Ordering is easy:

Proceed to checkout;

Choose your payment option;

Review your order;

Confirm and pay for your order;

You will receive an order confirmation by email.
Your order is confirmed when you click “Confirm Payment” (Checkout). A confirmation message with your order number and details will appear on your screen, finalising the purchase agreement.
An email confirmation will also be sent. We recommend printing or downloading this for your records.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel your order even after confirmation.
By submitting the order form, you accept these Terms and Conditions and other terms available via links on www.sofiagodinho.com.
SGF may not process orders if there are issues with payment collection, if orders are incomplete or incorrect, or if products are unavailable. In such cases, you will be informed via email.
If ordered products are unavailable at the time of your last access or order processing, SGF will inform you within 15 days of receiving the order.
If payment has been made for unavailable products, SGF will refund the amount paid for these items.
2.2 Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders
SGF reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders without liability for any damages or costs, in situations including but not limited to:

The product is unavailable/out of stock (payment will be refunded);

Incorrect or unverifiable billing information;

Orders flagged as incorrect or potentially fraudulent by our security systems;

Payment not received within 5 days of order acceptance;

2.3 Data Verification
Orders may be subject to verification (address, creditworthiness, fraud check) before processing.
Fraud checks may include automated screening to identify unusual or suspicious transactions. Suspected fraud will be investigated and reported if necessary.

3. Product Pricing and Payment
3.1 Payment Methods
We accept payment via Multibanco reference, credit card, or bank transfer. Other payment methods are not accepted.
3.2 Payment Processing
If you pay by credit card, the amount will be deducted when your order is dispatched.
Card details are transmitted securely using encrypted protocols and will not be accessible by third parties.
These details will only be used by SGF for the purchase process, refunds, or fraud reporting to the authorities.
The product prices and shipping costs as indicated in the order form will be charged upon dispatch.
4. Order Security
www.sofiagodinho.com uses robust security technology. Your payment data will be encrypted during transmission and will not be stored on a public server.
Despite using encryption, online communications cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. SGF is not responsible for damages resulting from electronic communications, including delays, interceptions, or viruses.
For Multibanco payments, orders will only be processed upon payment receipt, which may take several days. Orders without payment after 5 days will be cancelled.
5. Retention of Title
SGF retains ownership of all products until full payment is received.
6. Prices
6.1 Product prices include VAT. Shipping fees are applied per order, depending on the delivery country.
6.2 Prices are quoted in euros. Changing the delivery country may affect pricing.
6.3 The total price includes taxes and shipping fees, displayed at checkout.
6.4 SGF reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
6.5 Despite careful updates, price information may contain errors. SGF reserves the right to cancel orders in such cases.
7. Quality and Guarantee
SGF does not sell second-hand, defective, or low-quality products.
Product details are provided on each product page, but colours may vary due to screen settings.
Products have identification tags, which must remain attached for returns.
SGF reserves the right to refuse returns if products are without tags, altered, or damaged.
8. Shipping & Delivery
8.1 Products are delivered Monday to Friday, excluding certain holidays, between 9 am and 6 pm.
A signature upon delivery confirms receipt.
8.2 Orders confirmed by 12 pm and paid by card or PayPal will ship the next business day. For Multibanco or bank transfer payments, shipping will occur after payment receipt.
SGF is not responsible for delays due to force majeure.
Delivery times for personalised products may take up to 6 weeks.
8.3 We may deliver your order in multiple shipments and will notify you by email if this occurs.
8.4 Upon delivery, inspect your package for damage. If damaged, refuse delivery, and SGF will refund your order once the return is processed.
Check products within 15 days of delivery; acceptance is assumed after this period.
9. Shipping Fees
9.1 Shipping fees apply per order, depending on the delivery country.
9.2 Free shipping is available if the order exceeds the defined minimum value for your country or campaign.
10. Returns & Cancellations
10.1 Orders can be cancelled before dispatch (except personalised items).
10.2 Faulty or non-conforming products can be returned within 15 days of receipt.
10.3 Returns for withdrawal are accepted within 14 days if:

The product is not personalised;

The product is unused;
-
The product and packaging are undamaged;

Both items in a pair are returned.
10.4 Gift returns are not accepted; the purchaser must handle the return.
10.5 For exchanges, follow the Returns process.
10.6 Refunds for justified returns will include shipping costs. For other reasons, shipping and payment processing fees will not be refunded.
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

14. Promotion Validity
Offers on the website are valid while displayed unless stated otherwise. SGF reserves the right to cancel purchases made under erroneous conditions.
15. Liability
SGF’s liability is limited to damages resulting from contractual breaches or as required by law.
SGF is not responsible for damages to third parties or misuse of products.
SGF’s liability will not exceed the price of the products involved.
16. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions and related disputes shall be governed by Portuguese law.
